Singular Sounds O - Orange Fetishes

I'm afraid I know nothing about this band a part from the fact that they are Irish. As you can imagine a search on google sends up some very strange websites. Media player doesn't help as in picking up album information it is convinced that this track is in fact the sound track to M. Buterfly. If anyone knows anything about them then please let me know as I'd like to hear some more stuff by them.

Anyway the track itself is a nice bit of Irish jangly pop

  1. The Orange Fetishes were from Cork in Ireland. They played a lot in the mid 90's. They could still be playing for all I know. I think they released at least one album. I know they have a song called Sick Implants on a compilation called Ten By Ten with other Cork bands.

  3. Yes, Cork band from the 90's. Roy O'Driscoll and Peter O'Toole were the songwriters and vocalists. And I think Roy's brother was the bands drummer. Split up early on but a great sound. Released EP called M. Butterfly (5 tracks) and as mentioned they also had tracks on other local Cork music scene releases (e.g. Ten by Ten). That's about all I know but I do think they had other songs/albums.
